LOCAL CLICK & COLLECT - This is a service for local customers in the Dorset/Hampshire area who want their order quickly or want to save on postage and collect their order by appointment from our Dance Shop in Ferndown, Dorset.
For Local click & collect, simply choose this option in the delivery method box during checkout and continue through checkout process and make your payment online. Then phone or email us to make sure your order is ready for you to collect before leaving home. Please be aware that you will need to leave enough time for our staff to pick and pack your order, this is why you need to confirm it is ready. Collections can be made with an appointment during our opening hours which are monday - friday 9am - 5pm. Please print your order confirmation email and bring it with you. See our 'Contact us' page for our phone number and full address. Orders must be paid for online when you place your order and must be collected within seven days.
You need to leave at least 2 hours between making your order and contacting us to check that it is ready to collect. Our warehouse staff pick and pack click & collect orders between 9am and 2pm Mondays to Fridays (warehouse and offices are closed at weekends). Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will not be ready to collect until the following Monday, you will still need to get in touch to check it is ready.
NOTE - Returns or exchanges can be dropped off at our shop premises but our shop staff are not able to deal with any online order returns or exchanges. These have to be dealt with by our returns department on the next available working day.


DELIVERY - All items ordered and paid for by 1pm will be dispatched the same day during weekdays, by standard UK post - up to weight 1.5kg or by Courier over 1.5kg.

You can now upgrade to UK Mainland 
Next Working Day delivery at checkout (MUST be ordered by 1pm to arrive next working day), these orders will then be sent by either special delivery or Interlink express service - fully trackable with email or text notifications (please provide mobile phone number for text delivery alerts). This is a Next working Day service (ie. Monday to friday delivery) from £4.99 - If you require saturday delivery we can arrange that - please get in touch.

UK Mainland means just that and does not cover Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and other offshore destinations. Please ensure you choose the correct postal option for your destination during checkout, to avoid delays in your order being dispatched. Our Couriers require a valid mobile phone number in order for us to book your parcel into their system and to enable you to track your delivery to your door, please make sure you supply your mobile phone number to avoid delays to dispatch.

Please allow at least 7 days for standard UK delivery - although you will normally receive your order in 2-5 working days. Please let us know if you have not received your item after 7 working days. We cannot accept responsibility for items sent overseas without insurance options, so please let us know if you want to pay for extra insurance.

 Please order in plenty of time. We do not accept responsibility for Royal Mail/Courier not delivering your order in time.

 Please give us as much notice as possible before your Show or Event to avoid disappointment. In the event that the item you order is out of stock, we will let you know as soon as we can and try to come up with an alternative.

PAYMENT - Payments can be made by credit/debit card or by Paypal. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
In line with other retailers in the UK we nolonger accept personal cheques.

RETURNS - Our returns policy is as follows and does not affect your statutory rights.

Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer in all circumstances unless item is faulty.

FAULTY ITEMS - In the unlikely event that you need to return an item because it is faulty, please return to our business address on your original paperwork (also on our contact us page) WITHIN 7 DAYS. Please make sure you have included paperwork enclosed with your order or enclose a note with your name, address/phone, order number and details of the fault. We cannot refund or exchange without these details. Faulty goods will be replaced or refunded, but still need to be returned. We recommend that you obtain a proof of postage from the Post Office. If the item is found to be faulty we will reimburse for the return postage, either standard 1st class or recorded delivery but we do Not pay for expensive Special Delivery. In some circumstances we may ask for photographic evidence of fault in the first instance, but we may still require the item to be returned for clarification and report to our suppliers.

Exchange/Return Instructions 

Items can ONLY be returned/exchange if still in brand new, clean, unworn condition with original packaging and labels still attached and shoe boxes unmarked or damaged. Intimate items such as Leotards can only be exchanged/returned if hygiene strip in gusset is still intact (if applicable). Tights are classed as underwear and cannot be returned if packet is un-sealed.

If you need to exchange your item for a different size, Quickest option is to re-order the size required so it can be sent quickly and return original item within 30 days for refund. Refund will be for item amount only. Return with original paperwork - we cannot refund without it. Refunds can take up to 14 days to be processed. Items for refund/exchange must be returned within 30 days of order date - no refunds/exchanges will be issued after 30 days.

Alternatively, to return item for exchange please return within 30 days to our business address (on paperwork or our contact us page) with paperwork enclosed with order and reason for return and size required marked on paperwork. If you do not have the original paperwork please enclose a note with order number, name & address and phone number, (We cannot do anything without these details) reason for return and size required. If the new size you require is a higher price (example: Sizes sometimes have different prices) please also enclose the price difference. Exchanges can take up to 7 days to be processed and sent. Exchanges will be returned to you by 2nd class post only.

Please take care when trying on any garments or shoes - we cannot accept for return or exchange if they are marked in any way, including soles or if packaging or labels are missing or boxed defaced or damaged.

 If you return part or all of an order that was part of a POST FREE  order and the returned item takes your original order below our post free amount - your refund will be the item amount less any postage that then becomes payable because original order is less than £40. If you are exchanging an item, this will not be affected.

If you return an item that needs re-packaging, ie missing or torn packaging, labels missing etc - We may deduct a £1 re-packaging fee from your refund. If a shoe box is defaced/damaged and we need to buy another box from our supplier in order to re-stock a pair of shoes, we will charge £2 fee from your refund.

Shortages/incorrect orders  - We MUST be notified of any shortages in your order within 3 days of receipt of your order - after this time we will not be responsible for any items missing.

Orders not received - We must be notified within 30 days of order date for items sent to UK or Europe and within 45 days for orders sent worldwide. After this time there is nothing we can do.
